Some time ago I visited the house of my cousin who has 2 children, aged 3 years and a half and 1 year and 2 months. When they accompany them to play, suddenly I realize, how come their toys are funny and attractive, yeah. The toys are not just toys for haha hihi, but make them think and move on.
Then finally became curious about the toys. And apparently in ELC also toys are categorized into several types, adapted to the function of the toy. At ELC, the grouping of toys is divided into the following:
- Social skills
- Imagination
- Hand to eye coordination
- Grow in confidence
- Touch & explore
- Physical development
- Creativity
- Stimulates senses
- Thinking skills
- Learning to read
- Learning to write
- Discover the world
- Problem solving
- Communication skills
- Fine motor skills
- Learning to talk
Well, in all ELC toys these functions are listed and one toy can have more than 1 development function.
